About
Jackie
Jackie has experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults for intensive in-home therapy, office-based outpatient services, and telehealth. She focuses on personal growth and understanding in individual therapy while integrating family therapy sessions to support the goals of each client. She has provided services for such disorders as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Jackie has also worked with neurodiverse clients, providing an environment to help clients explore and understand the way their brains work while helping them manage the impact of those differences in their day to day lives. With both personal and professional investment, Jackie has pursued advanced training on the topics of gender and sexual diversity and has supported LGBTQIA+ clients as they explore the role of gender and sexuality in their lives, engage in the process of coming out, and seek services and spaces which support their identities.

Through her work with trauma survivors, Jackie has developed a keen understanding of the importance of providing space for any and all emotions experienced while seeking healing. She has experience with survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, survivors of sexual violence, survivors of domestic and partner abuse, and people experiencing grief. She aims to help clients understand how trauma impacts the brain and body and engage them in the process of healing.

As a Supervisor, as in therapy, Jackie prioritizes the development of a trusting bond in order to support growth and exploration of roles and identity. With her experience in the field, she can provide guidance in practicing ethically with a variety of mental health issues, learning best practice for accuracy and efficiency in documentation, and navigating the stressful environment of the behavioral health industry.
